Project - Cannes Lions 2006 Winners Reel DVD

Outcome - Double DVD and packaging for Cannes Lions 2006 winners.

Commentary - The Cannes Lions DVD is a huge project. It required the production of over 100 individual interactive menu screens spread over 2 discs. Added to this there are 1000s of credit slates and media clips. So it was important to keep the navigation and look as simple as possible while maintaining the Cannes Lions premium brand.

The outcome is a rich looking menu style which carrys the 2006 Cannes Lions 'wave' theme thoughout the disc. We opted to have no animated transitions so that viewer focus was on the content rather than the menus. Instead I subtley changed the background waves to make each page individual.

The double disc was authored in conjunction with the brilliant team at Petrol Digital Media.
