Ford wanted visitors to their Frankfurt IAA 2011 page to feel like they were actually at the motorshow, and to feel the excitement of the launch of the Evos concept car.

We suggested the Silverlight technology Photosynth to deliver this experience. Photosynth stitches together photography into a pseudo 3D enviroment. This meant that visitors could actually feel like they were walking around the stand, could see a 360 view of each car, and even zoom in on specific details.

Later in the week this experience was augmented with some user generated images from Flickr. This increased the feeling of a personal show experience.

The Photosynth data was added to Bing maps so that it had an exact geography within the Frankfurt IAA building.
