Project - Transition To Transition

Outcome - 6 Transition-to-transition postcards in a boxset

Commentary - I decided to combine the 2 elements of the collage and narrative workshop into 6 separate 3 step narrative transitions inspired by Scott McClouds 6
classifications of transition. The result is a set of 6 postcards representing these transitions. The collages backgrounds are all patterns from the inside of envelopes and also different cardboard textures. These background colours keep the set of postcards consistent in style. The text on each postcard explains Scott McClouds
classification of transitions. The back of each postcard is divided into 2 frames, 1 for message and one for address, with a separating gutter in the style of a comic strip. The postcards are presented in a box filled with shredded packing paper to reflect the packing materials used in the collages.
